Introduction to Equine Assisted Psychotherapy (EAP )

Equine Assisted Learning (EAL)

EAP and EAL are both about “learning by doing” through experiential activities with horses in a non-riding format.  Both models assist participants in connecting with emotions to provide metaphoric experiences to enhance emotional growth and produce “Ah-Ha!” moments.  During the Open House you can have a ‘hands on’ experience with a horse in a safe setting.

This will be held outdoors, so dress for all types of weather and be comfortable!.   We do require closed toe shoes or boots.  Keep in mind that a little mud or horse hair just might go home with you.
